two blogs

I think i'm going to talk about my discovery process over at the new CI blog, and talk about product stuff, competitive analysis stuff, here at the xb blog. Cuz i'm going to be involved in two parts, and Gary wants the consulting part to have a close but not totally internal relationship to XB, which is about software and coders.
Whether adding a fourth blog (xigi itself, which i don't feed that much these days, my new projects blog and the two on this project, CI on process, both from me and from our clients as we figure out how to guide them to the software suite we sell them, and this blog, which is more product and business focused for XB itself.

whether that conceptually elegant logic actually is a better way to report on what's going on, kind of like two columns written on the same project from two different angles works out as a welcome habit, and whether the intentional division of the focus helps each side of the operation become more productive are all things it will be good to discover and document. the process of building the business becomes the business. i hope my business partners blog here soon. but if they don't that's another thing to write about. how you get people to blog and create a transparent and attractive business.. that's something i want to do... hmm that will mean branding me, but i have good cap branding... need to bring those two together some how... tim is the heart of the goodcap brand, but im becoming seen a good bit more as an essential part of the team; people are starting to get what I bring...

anyway.. this blog will carry some personal elements as i figure out the multiple professional relationships i have to manage and be transparent about.. so ... i think i can handle the number of things on my plate. but one way i deal with them is to write about them... so, in this more transparent media saturated web 2.0 world, talking about personal stuff has to on the table... because we have to talk about the stuff people will be wondering about.. and that we are wondering about....
